Situated in the San Francisco Bay Area at the north end of the East Bay, Concord is the largest city in Contra Costa County.
The heartbeat of the city is Todos Santos Plaza, a 2.5-acre community gathering place at the heart of Concord that is home to concerts, farmers’ markets, and other community activities. Surrounded by mountains, Concord features miles of hiking trails, including a challenging hike to the top of 3,849-foot Mount Diablo.
As the headquarters of Gilbane’s Federal Division, the Concord office serves a number of military construction projects not only throughout the United States, but around the world, in locations that include Germany, Guam, Japan, Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Our primary Federal clients include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Gilbane values our longstanding relationship with the U.S. Federal Government, which began in 1942 with the construction of buildings and infrastructure for the US Navy in Newport, Rhode Island. Our extensive portfolio of Government projects includes healthcare, mission-critical, aviation, courthouse, cyber, education, historical buildings, science and technology, and secure/classified projects.
