Gilbane presenting in the CMAA BIM Lunch & Learn Series

Gilbane is pleased to join the South Atlantic Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America for their May 4 Lunch & Learn Meeting.

Gilbane presenters include:

  • Sabrina Bernstein, Virtual Design and Construction Engineer
    • Sabrina Bernstein manages the VDC department of Gilbane Building Company’s Southeast region. She has over $1 billion in projects to date, including experience in higher education, K-12, manufacturing, and large-scale facility data management and turnover. In addition to experience in standard VDC services such as visualizations, 2D/3D/4D site plans, constructability analysis and model development, and clash detection/trade coordination, Sabrina has also led initiatives in 3D printing, laser scanning and virtual reality. Sabrina has a Bachelor’s in Physics from Emory University and a Master’s in Building Construction from Auburn.
  • Michelle Rousseau, Virtual Design and Construction Engineer
    • Michelle Rousseau serves as a VDC engineer at Gilbane Building Company with more than $600 million in project experience.  Her project type experience includes K-12 schools, higher education facilities, high-design patient tower, and facility management turnover.   Michelle studied architecture and earned a Bachelor in Architecture degree.  She has always been interested in the mechanics and technical side of design which led her to the construction industry where she utilizes BIM technologies to assist in planning, coordination, problem-solving, quality control/quality assurance, constructability review, and collaboration with trades and project team.
