Gilbane Development Company hires Geoff Eisenacher as Senior Development Director, Student Housing/Public Private Partnerships

Mr. Eisenacher brings almost 26 years of higher education P3 experience in student housing and will support expansion of Gilbane Development Company

PROVIDENCE, RI – (September 25, 2019) Gilbane Development Company (“GDCo”), the real estate development, financing, and ownership arm of Gilbane, Inc., is pleased to welcome Geoff Eisenacher as Senior Development Director, Student Housing/Public Private Partnerships.

In this position, Eisenacher will coordinate all phases of the program development and partnership delivery process, manage contract negotiation, and increase the understanding and effectiveness of Gilbane Development Company’s business objectives. He will also be responsible for conducting research and identifying potential strategic partnerships with the broader team to support the Company’s expansion.

Eisenacher brings almost 26 years of higher education P3 experience in student housing and campus infrastructure to Gilbane. He most recently served as a Partnership Solution Provider at Corvias, a firm that provides infrastructure partnership solutions for a wide range of clients including the military, higher education, and the public sector. While at Corvias, Eisenacher engaged with administrative leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement complex sustainable solutions that address the needs of mission-driven organizations and students. Geoff’s nationwide experience includes the development, construction and operations of over $3.5 billion in student housing, both on and off campus that included the creation of the 40-year, $550 million public private partnership (P3) with the University System of Georgia (USG) to finance, construct and manage 3,753 new beds and 6,195 existing beds across nine campuses as well as leading the development of the 40-year, $307.5 million P3 with WSU to construct and manage 838 new beds and 2,852 existing beds.
