Tyler Greene is a Vice President at Gilbane Development, where he leads the firm’s strategic expansion into Salt Lake City, Utah, and is responsible for growing Gilbane’s presence across high-performing Western U.S. markets. Tyler brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate development, including multifamily, mixed-use, and community-driven projects. He applies proven strategies to scale complex developments, foster public-private partnerships, and deliver housing solutions aligned with long-term regional resilience.
Prior to joining Gilbane Development in 2025, Tyler founded Surface Development, where he oversaw a $350 million pipeline of residential projects, and led the Salt Lake City market entry for a nationally recognized multifamily developer. His leadership has shaped over $1 billion in development across Utah and Hawaii, with a focus on attainable housing and sustainable growth. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and is a lifelong resident of Salt Lake City, where he remains deeply committed to thoughtful, community-centered development.
