Top three takeaways from the Q3 2025 Report:
- Economic Outlook: Despite a slight increase in inflation, recent policy changes have had mixed impacts on the U.S. economy. Positively, consumer spending is on the rise, indicating greater confidence and economic activity. Meanwhile, inflation has been on the uptick since March, upholding the Federal Reserve’s recent decision to maintain current interest rate targets.
- Construction Market: The construction industry is projected to grow in 2025, but at a slower rate than in previous years. However, advances in artificial intelligence, digital delivery, and automation are leading to greater efficiency, setting the stage for a smarter and more streamlined industry.
Supply Chain and Labor: Tariffs and geopolitical uncertainties continue to impact material prices and lead times, but the industry remains resilient. Labor shortages persist in several regions, with the unemployment rate for construction workers 2.2 percentage points lower in July than it was in April.
