Syracuse, NY (August 30, 2022) –   Gilbane Development Company has opened a leasing office for “The Laurel” a 466-bed student housing community, currently under construction at 311 Forman Avenue, just four blocks from Syracuse University’s (“SU”) campus.

The Laurel is scheduled to open for occupancy in August 2023. A leasing office is now open at 756 S. Crouse Avenue.

With a 24-hour fitness center, cyber-lounge, computer lab, and ample study rooms, The Laurel will include amenities that support busy SU students physically, socially, and academically. The fully furnished apartments will offer private ensuite bathrooms, smart locks, in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in closets (in select units), stainless steel appliances, granite counters, high-speed internet, and Smart TVs.

The Laurel will offer a shuttle to and from the University and includes on-site parking, with both garage and surface lot spaces available for rent.

Apartments will be leased by the bed and professionally managed by Asset Living. Management will hold events that support residents and cultivate an inclusive, dynamic community.
