Gilbane Co-Hosts Hard-Hat Media Tour of $20M+ Stateside Live! Expansion Project in South Philadelphia
Expansion Adds more than 58,000 SF of Outdoor Entertainment Space to the Heart of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex
On April 22, 2026, Gilbane Building joined project partners Comcast Spectacor and The Cordish Companies at Stateside Live! to give local media a behind-the-scenes look at the $20 million+ expansion of the South Philadelphia facility.
The guided walkthrough highlighted key components of the reimagined indoor-outdoor destination, including the AVA Rooftop, PBR Backyard, Blue Moon Beer Garden, Stateside Crush Bar, and Coors Light Stage. The tour also showcased how the expanded campus was redesigned to support year-round programming, from game-day activations to concerts, festivals, and large-scale events for up to 5,000 guests. The expansion project added more than 58,000 square feet of new outdoor entertainment space in total.
Stateside Live! is Philadelphia’s premier dining and entertainment destination, located in the heart of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. As lead builder, Gilbane has been making steady progress toward the venue’s grand opening on May 29.

Gilbane leveraged its extensive network of diverse-owned contractors to help the project exceed its 30% minority business participation goal. Worker safety remained a top priority throughout construction, with more than 270 workers completing site orientation and more than 30,000 incident-free labor hours logged during the project.
