Gilbane Building Welcomes Sara Sadek, PE as Quality Director
Experienced construction quality leader joins Gilbane Building to strengthen quality strategy focused on consistency, field performance, and continuous improvement
Providence, RI – June 1, 2026 – Gilbane, a leading global builder, announced today that Sara Sadek has joined the firm as Quality Director, reinforcing its commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes across projects and operations.
In this role, Sadek will help strengthen quality strategy across Gilbane Building by enhancing consistency, supporting field performance, and reinforcing the company’s focus on delivering work that meets the highest standards. She will partner closely with operations and project teams to further embed quality into daily practices, proactively manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Sadek brings nearly 20 years of experience in construction quality and risk management across complex environments. She began her career as a field engineer performing layout before moving into building envelope engineering and quality consulting, where she focused on design review and inspections. Most recently, she established and led a comprehensive quality program for a national construction firm. Her portfolio spans key markets including data centers, commercial, healthcare, and high-performance and historic buildings.
She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Passive House Tradesperson. Sadek has been recognized as an Engineering News-Record (ENR) National Top 20 Under 40 honoree for her leadership and impact within the industry.
