Gilbane Building Company Names James Dudt as Pittsburgh Business Leader

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania –May 25, 2023 – Gilbane is pleased to announce that James Dudt has been named the company’s business leader in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, previously serving as a senior business development manager since joining Gilbane in August of 2021. In his new role, Dudt will drive Gilbane’s growth and presence in the western Pennsylvania market, as well as excellence and innovation for operations. He will oversee all projects and employees in the local area.

Dudt has over 15 years of experience in several construction industry markets, with a proven track record of delivering value for his clients. Since joining Gilbane, he has successfully developed influential relationships in the local community and gained market share in select public and private sectors like higher education and healthcare. Dudt assumes responsibility for several current projects that will support sustained economic growth in the local communities where they are located, such as Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Innovation Center at Hazelwood Green and the University of Pittsburgh’s Arena and Sports Complex.

He is a LEED® Accredited Professional and a State of Pennsylvania Professional Engineer.
