Gilbane Building and Village of Bradley Celebrate Ribbon Cutting for New 315 Sports Park

Chicago, IL – September 16, 2025 – The Village of Bradley and Gilbane Building proudly marked the official opening of the new 315 Sports Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This milestone represents a bold step forward in the Village’s long-term vision for economic development and quality of life, establishing a regional hub for youth athletics, recreation, and community events.

The $50 million project features 12 all-turf fields equipped with dugouts, warm-up and viewing areas, and concession stands. The expansive one million-square-foot facility also includes a kitchen, cafeteria, restrooms, training room, ticket office, referee rooms, and meeting spaces—designed to support year-round tournaments and recreational programming. With over 1,000 parking spaces and integrated water features utilizing existing stormwater ponds, the complex is poised to become a premier destination for sports tourism and community gatherings in the Midwest.

“This 315 Sports Park is truly a once-in-a-lifetime grand slam,” said Village of Bradley Mayor Mike Watson. “This park will build better athletes and most certainly contribute to a better local economy as well.”

Gilbane Building served as the construction manager and partnered with PSI Construction to oversee all phases of development. The project also included collaboration with local contractors, ensuring strong community involvement throughout construction.
