Boston, Massachusetts

We respect the tradition and history of the communities we provide construction services in while also embracing innovation, cutting-edge construction technology and lean construction practices.

As the building contractor of the John Hancock Tower, our construction services in the Commonwealth date back to 1946. As one of the largest construction companies in the state, we serve communities throughout the Commonwealth from new office construction for State Street Bank in Boston, to a science and technology facility for Genzyme in Framingham, to K-12 school construction in Boston and Western Massachusetts.  Our success is built on our drive to exceed our client’s expectations on each and every assignment.

In Your Community

We also measure success by giving back to the communities we live, work and build.  Through volunteering and raising money at our annual charitable golf tournament, to digging in and getting our hands and hearts involved in community efforts including Rebuilding Together Boston, Boston Marathon Daffodils, Children’s Trust Giving Program, Rosie’s Place and Babson College Build-A-Stand Lemonade Day Program.   Gilbane is proud of our recent designation as a leading philanthropic contributor in Boston being recognized on Boston Business Journal’s Top Charitable Contributors List.
