Gilbane Building Company promotes Angela Cotie to Project Executive for Southwest Business Unit

Seasoned industry veteran brings over 18 years of experience to Gilbane’s operations in the Houston area market

angela cotieHouston, TX – March 22, 2016 – Gilbane Building Company is proud to announce the promotion of Angela Cotie to Project Executive, working out of Gilbane’s downtown Houston office. Angela brings over 18 years of experience in construction services, operations and client relationships to the team.  She has extensive experience in planning, implementing and overseeing all phases of small and large construction projects. Angela has been with Gilbane since 2008 and has been engaged with clients such as Moody Gardens in Galveston, the Houston Zoo, Battlefield Health and Trauma Center in San Antonio, the Sealy Smith Foundation and numerous other high profile projects spanning various market sectors.

Angela is a graduate of Penn State University with a B.A.E. in Architectural Engineering and is a LEED Accredited Professional, as well as a Certified Interior Decorator.  She is currently the Chairman for the Houston ACE Mentor Program and most recently is working on a team to support the building playhouse program for Girls, Inc. in Houston. Angela volunteers her time with other numerous local community organizations throughout the year including Galveston Career Connect, and the Boy Scouts Bay Area Council.
