New Haven Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Reservoir

Through a well-planned and collaborative approach, Gilbane was able to offer significant cost savings to the city of New Haven by combining the construction of the CSO and the new Truman School, a project Gilbane was previously awarded. Combining these two projects offered significant cost savings and the City was able to leverage the use of limited city property for multiple purposes. The tank was built underneath the school’s athletic fields and parking lot and was fast tracked to coincide with the completion of the Truman School.
